Yes, this little guy is fitting in perfectly.  He is such a sweet baby and we already can't imagine our family dynamic without him.  At 5 months, he plays a big role in our family.  I love that the girls pay so much attention to him and talk to him like he is their peer.  The other morning, Tess walked into the room while Declan was playing on his mat and said, "good morning, Declan.  Did you have a good sleep last night?"   He started wiggling and giggling.  He adores his sisters!

Wedding Shoes

Today, the girls tried on their shoes for Elizabeth's wedding.  Claire calls them "glass slippers."  Tess calls them "dancing shoes."  Chris' response was, "why did you only order one pair each?  You know they are going to want to live in them."  All three comments are spot on.  

 Here is Claire's reaction when I told her she had to take them off so they wouldn't get ruined before the wedding:

The flower girl dresses arrive next week.  Those will have to be hidden until the wedding too.  After the wedding, I'm sure you'll see two little cuties at the park and all over town in party dresses and glass slippers!

First Day Back to Work

Daddy put his baby carrier on, so Tess and Claire had to have theirs too!  All the babies enjoyed the Saturday morning walk.

It is already starting...

Claire just finished up her lunch and when I said that it was time for a nap, she said, "but Baby Declan wants a show."  She ran over to Declan (on the floor on his playmate) and said, "Declan, do you want a show?"  Then she looked up at me and said, "he said yes.  He wants Olivia."  Keep in mind, Claire is not yet 2 years and Declan is 4.5 months!  Oh, my kids make me smile so many times a day.

Such a boy

Doesn't Declan look so much like a boy already?  He is so precious.  I cannot get enough of this little guy and he keeps getting cuter and cuter.

This morning, he woke up at 5am and ate and then I got my tea and just stared at him after he fell back to sleep -- a good start to my day.
